My son has had no problem with his set! Lots of fun for kids who love to play army. This set has a good variety of items to make a fun battle scene. I also bought a bag of 144 pc army men to go with it! 5 Stars!

I bought this for my 7 year old nephew, who is crazy about anything to do with the US Army. This set looked nice, with many diecast cars and planes and especially a full color mat depicting a battle. My nephew looked forward to getting it for many days, which turned into a week and then a week and a half. Finally it arrives and it is much smaller than we thought. However, I wasn't really that surprised, most toys are smaller than they appear in the advertisement, particularly army/battle toys. The mat is just a plastic colorized mat, very thin and easily scratched and torn. My nephew being 7 was told that he needed to play with this gently as it is not a very sturdy toy and he has been doing so and loving it. If children are much younger you may not want to buy them this toy. The wheels on the vehicles are very lose and could easily fall off during play. The army men are much smaller than ordinary army men as all the cars are smaller, squished up versions of the army vehicles we have gotten in other toy sets. All in all I think my nephew has gotten my moneys worth out of this. Just depends on the child and how gentle he can be while playing.

I was so dissapointed with these toys. They are so brittle, it didn't take much to break them. Over half the pieces broke in the first hour. This set would have been better if it were just the soldiers, planes and trucks, and even those are that great, but the rest is just junk. Don't waste your money on this product.

The army men aren't the standard siz, they're much smaller, but my son doesn't seem to mind. One of the trucks broke right away, but he's hard on his toys. He really loves to play with all of the planes and trucks.
